Silk Screen

*Silk Screen (aka Screen Printing)
Silk Screening is still popular amongst most people, and the quality is there. If you are wanting a large quantity of shirts, sweaters... etc. Done, Silk Screening is the better way to go. If you are getting a low amount done Heat Transfer is the cheapest, and best way to go.
*How it works

This process is a bit more complicated than the rest, at first. Now all artwork being silk screened is separated by colours, you pay per colour with silk screening. For an example if you have artwork that is four colours, what has to be done is the graphic artist has to separate all of those colours on to separate pieces of special clear paper, So when they are layed on top of each other they all line up. Once you have them on the special paper you have to put them on a frame and flash them. What the flash does is burns the design onto the frame making very VERY small holes for the ink to go through. So once it is on the frame you just have to set you shirt on the wooden table and lay the frame over top of it and squeegee the paint overtop. It is very interesting to watch.
